Michael X, who is often heard on the webinar circuit, teaches students how to leverage Google ranking in order to earn  up to $10,000 per month online.  According to Michael, anyone using these techniques could easily be deemed a PR/branding expert, as well as help to overcome any prior Google Penguin, Panda, etc. “slap.”

Generic Press ReleaseOn a recent webinar, Michael was able to rank one attendee, Harvey Jenkins, on the first page of Google, during the course of the webinar, by editing and submitting a generic press release submitted to Newswire.net (see screen capture of generic release at right).

Several variations of the most common keywords pertaining to marketing consultant and marketing agency were also specifically included.  A picture to be submitted along with the press release was specifically edited to include desired keywords within the image properties.  In addition, the press release in its entirety was copied into the image properties “description.”  In under 5 minutes, the press release was on the first page of Google for “best marketing agency raleigh nc,” and several other terms.

Michael (Taggart) has been using these techniques for over a year to rank his own press releases as well as for his clients and now provides in-depth training in ranking press releases.  His own press releases rank him as “coolest entrepreneur” in Google, as #1 and #3.  Michael points out that the techniques apply to SEO for any document, e.g., especially editing the document properties of items on your websites.

Michael’s Press Release Bootcamp, has been available for only 2 months and is now offered for only a limited time.  The class sessions are conducted “live” with Q&A covering how to get PR/news written, proper formatting, advice of pickups by major media, doing keyword research, competition research, local marketing considerations, and affiliate marketing applications.

Jason and MattJason Katzenback (on the right) and Matt Clark (left) have developed a system for 7 figure profit per year based on selling on Amazon.  In fact, Jason is expecting a $10 million year in 2013.  We reported last year on a method this team was using at the time.

Matt shut down his online store 4 years ago, even though he was making $2 million in sales.  His method allows for profits from $100 to $1000 daily, which is unachievable via typical ecommerce.  Matt’s methodology involves finding opportunities that already exist vs. inventing new products and opportunities.  His method is as follows

  1. Find best-selling products selling from $7 to $40.
  2. Evaluate a product’s private label potential, e.g., can a similar product easily be labeled and/or packaged to make it your own?
  3. Find suppliers using Google search for “[product name] white label.”
  4. Use Fulfillment by Amazon to handle all product shipping and customer support.
  5. Leverage Amazon’s “traffic loophole,” by category to get direct customer sales.  A product’s ranking can easily be ranked above others using good marketing principles, e.g., use well named images, a sales letter, benefits, and call to action.
  6. Get reviews every day (three initially), including social proof in order to increase traffic and affiliates promoting your product.  Systematically follow-up with customers.
  7. Get sales through the keyword, by offering a coupon that encourages finding your product through keyword search.

In order to make $70,000 per year, it is only necessary to find a product in the top 3,000 popularity.  On an average $25 product, this would be achievable averaging 6 product sales per day.  Matt and Jason offer a complete training system beginning later this month, the Amazing Selling Machine (now closed).  Although the training isn’t inexpensive, especially by Internet marketing standards, it would still be much less than a typical franchise fee (stay tuned, since we’ll be reporting more on progress using Matt and Jason’s tools and methods).

But as is usually the case, a competitive offering is also available for Amazon ecommerce enthusiasts, the Proven Amazon Course.  See below for some details about this alternative (especially since ASM is now closed to new members):

English: A schematic illustrating the evolving...

99.5 percent of local business consultants fail. The reason why is because of the difficulty of customer acquisition. Customer acquisition is actually made up of the following 5 activities:

If any of these aspects are neglected or poorly executed, this spells failure. The failure may be of slow death of an organization, or in the worst case immediate loss of viability.

What happened to the Internet marketing lifestyle? Why isn’t the money just coming in on auto pilot, like you’ve heard it would? Let’s look a little deeper into the 5 activities needed in any enterprise.

Prospecting is the first step and the easiest. All that you’re selling in this step is a presentation. The most critical aspect of prospecting is “attention getting.” This is why techniques such as the “pattern interrupt” are so vital. How do other forms of advertising accomplish a pattern interrupt. In the Internet advertising, the typical pattern interrupt is a “free offer.’

Selling activities include the offer, the presentation, and your audience. All of these must be present, relevant, and effectively delivered in order to be successful. In addition, Jason Fladlien suggests memorizing closes that can be applied “by rote,” only applying the right amount of pressure. Knowing that too little pressure is the most common mistake, Jason recommends intentionally applying a little too much at first and then “ratcheting down” as needed.

“You want to have an offer that is easily demonstratable as far superior to what people are already begrudgingly paying for.” Jason Fladlien

Servicing involves all fulfillment and customer support activities after the sale. Servicing can be a daunting task and even the thought of having to fulfill on the sale can psychologically cripple an entrepreneur. Perhaps this is why most Internet marketers spend more time on building websites and other preparatory activities, e.g., buying all the latest “shiny objects,” rather than prospecting for new customers.

Managing clients can be a time-consuming task. For most businesses, the first employee after the owner is an administrative assistant who can help with customer management.

Upselling is a natural part of the backend servicing and managing process. Most sales will be derived from satisfied customers and their referrals. The backend is where most of the money is actually earned, once the customer is familiar with the quality and effectiveness of the products and services already purchased.

Jason Fladlien and Dan Holling’s new One Minute Formula  is a system designed for offline consultants who don’t necessarily want to grow their own business, but rather prefer to operate as an advisor to connect their clients to the Rapid Crush sales and fulfillment processes.  A consultant can spend one minute in the prospecting process and earn a lifetime of backend residuals and possibly enter the coveted Internet lifestyle.

John Pearce, Developer of Easy Target Lead Generator

John Pearce

John Pearce just released, earlier today what may be the best offline marketing lead generation software to ever be released.  Why do I say this is the best ever Offline marketing lead gen software?  Watch his video, for starters:

As you can see, this software quickly identifies the following needs for any local business based on niche and location:

  • Mobile Website
  • Mobile App
  • Google+ Page
  • Facebook Fan Page
  • Whether Business Has Paid Advertising (i.e. AdSense)
  • Email Capture Form On Website
  • Twitter
  • LinkedIn

For example, let’s say a local plumber already has an active Facebook fan page and Twitter, but doesn’t capture emails on their website. Armed with this knowledge, you now know what to sell the plumbing business owner on and not waste their time talking about social media! Instead, you’ll be able to zero in on how they are losing a ton of potential sales by not having an email opt-in form.  Or, as a business owner, how valuable would it be to know exactly what your competition is doing?

There are a couple of bonuses that come with this software, including basic training/information on consulting to local businesses, statistics you can use when talking to local business owners, and a follow-on training series featuring several experts who work with local businesses on a daily basis.

Mike Carraway and Bill Cousins put on an interesting training this evening, offering a Video Power Suite which combined several of their products, including the following:

Mike Carraway's Video Traffic Blaster

Video Traffic Blaster

  • Video Traffic Blaster – a WSO by Mike ($17 to $27).
  • Rocket Video Ranker - a WSO by Bill (now $47)
  • Tube Views Secrets – a WSO by Bill (now $37) on his methods for ranking and “sticking.”
  • You Tube Keyword Code – a WSO by bill (now $37) with over 1000 sold.
  • Video Marketing Bot - a third-party WSO; based on extremely fast video creation software.  Bill gave a great demo of what may be easiest video creation systems we’ve seen and seems a bargain at current $27.
  • Video image and audio packs.
  • Free copy of upcoming WSOs by Mike and Bill.

According to Cisco, 2/3 of all viewed online content will be in the form of video by 2015.   Youtube is getting 4 billion views a month.  And according to a study by the University of Pennsylvania, prospects are 72% more likely to purchase a product or service when video is used (and they make faster buying decisions).

The components of a video marketing system include

  • Video Creation System – any camera or phone will do.  Free software is readily available for making the movie.
  • Video Management & Publishing – Keepvid.com downloads any video to your computer (check license first).
  • Video Monetization – Launch sniping is the process of creating a review type video and getting ranked with your affiliate link.  For instance, a marketer recently ranked videos for Offline Autopsy, and earned about $600.  A video for PPC Marketing made in 2011 is still on page 1 today.
  • Video Measurement – how effective are your videos/rankings.

Ranking a video in today’s environment is a little more difficult than it used to be.  The following steps can usually get a video ranked on Google page 1:

  1. Use a keyword that’s a buyer keyword
  2. The title has a long keyword included
  3. The description has the keyword twice (essaygenerator.com can be used to generate content automatically)
  4. The link you are promoting is the first part of the description.
  5. Use several slightly altered videos
  6. Ping and social bookmark using pingler.com, massping.com, pingomatic.com

Affiliate links should be shortened, or hidden using a php redirect script.  There are also several WordPress plugins that do redirects (several are free, including PrettyLink).

This VIDEO BOT software takes all of the pain out of producing a clean, vibrant, and thoughtful video. . .and then automagically uploads it to YouTube for you.  Tevis Verrett

Mike Carraway and Bill Cousins are accomplished Internet marketer specializing in video marketing.  The product suite put together on this evening’s session may be an indication of increasing competition and pressures in the industry.  Great value at rock bottom prices.  If and when a replay is available we highly recommend getting in line.   Availability of excellent software such as the Video Marketing Bot, introduced here is likely to accelerate.

Not too long ago, business owners had to have a Yellow Pages ad in order to be competitive. Obviously, times have changed, and print advertisers who want to keep in-step, are migrating to modern products such as YouTube.  Although their logos are the same, they are now selling online marketing products, such as websites and video marketing.

But, in the latter case, businesses may find these services a little over-valued, e.g., the phones aren’t ringing as often as used to be the case from their advertising spend.  And, although it isn’t unsuual to be paying $199 per month for their video marketing services, they come only with a “guaranteed” 25 clicks per month.  But are the advertisers delivering, even on these meager terms?

A quick search shows the following “Dallas” area video results indicates that maybe they are not, e.g., these videos have a very low number of views.  And this isn’t unusual.

Dallas area videos in YouTubeFor instance, the SuperPages YouTube channel has nearly 9,000 videos.  But, a search of chiropractors in this channel illustrates extremely limited views (well short of  25 per month).  The same is true in most other niches within the channel.

And, when examining the actual videos, it is interesting that the videos include few marketing principles, e.g., no call to action or contact information, or links to the advertiser website (links are instead, directed to the advertiser’s SuperPages.com ad)

So, in true form, Jack Mize, a leading consultant to local business marketers has identified a huge opportunity (a big problem in need of a solution).  Jack’s solution is simply to improve on the solutions being offered, and deliver much better results for his clients.

Jack’s solution is using PLR videos that can be easily enhanced with an inexpensive voice over from fiverr.com (the script is developed based on an interview with the client in order to highlight the most valuable services offered).  Jack has produced nearly 100 stock videos that can be used within many different local business niches.  Then for good measure, adding some actual marketing to the video, he is actually able to help struggling businesses get results for their advertising dollars.

Jack Mize and Rapid Crush now offer ProNiche Video, which includes detailed training in this method, as well as access to his own extensive library of PLR videos that have already been proven successfully with his own local business clients.  Rapid Crush provides excellent support and training, which adds significant value to Jack’s training system.

Matt Gill

Matt Gill

Matt Gill recently introduced the Easiest System Ever developed by Devon Brown.  The system is “by invitation only via an application process,”  although the sales page also provides an lower cost option for his earlier Web Copy Cat product.  This methodology has been able to produce commissions up to $4800 within a few days, starting from scratch and with no knowledge of html, php or any other technology.  The following 3 simple ingredients are the basis of his system:

  1. A product or service that produces “huge lump sums of cash” when people buy it.  This product must simultaneously add immense value to the marketplace and creating the opportunity for residual income (e.g., ClickBank).
  2. A system that’s designed to remove most of the obstacles and do the “heavy lifting” for you.  There are 3 simple words that enable this, process are:  “build a list!”
  3. A set of ways to expose people to the system and/or business….a.k.a. marketing!

avoiding security while distributing network marketing flyersAlthough he had been introduced to the concept of list building in 2001, he rejected it for about 2 years, while trying to run his network marketing business the way he wanted (and thought would work).  One of his big ideas was to distribute flyers for his opportunity on all of the Mart trains in Atlanta.  Of course this is illegal and he had to  simultaneously avoid the train security personnel, while placing flyers.  The strategy produced only one sale.

There are two main reasons why most people are failing in their home business or venture.  Figuratively, what is needed is a pot of water as well as enough heat to make the water boil.  In a business sense, most people get involved with programs or opportunities but neglect to add any heat, thinking that just joining a program or buying the latest WSO will product success..  Then they jump from program or WSO to the next “shiny object” that appears.  Devon has developed a simple system that anyone can use to quickly start down the path to recurring residual income.  The Web Copy Cat system has some good reviews and a fair track record on the Warrior Forum.

Devon BrownAlthough the system may not be something of interest to more experienced marketers who already know how to build a squeeze page and drive traffic, it may be exactly what is needed for many to get started.  His introductory program, Web Copy Cat, provides a simple (and low cost, e.g., $5 trial) way to get started.  His sales video is very entertaining and could inspire the creation of a very effective sales funnel and improved sales techniques, even for a more experienced marketer.  Click below to enjoy his highly entertaining presentation. Mobile Internet Growth Projections In a recent survey of 500 small businesses with less than 10 employees, it was found that 60% have a website, 26% have a mobile-friendly website, and only 14% have a mobile website specifically designed for mobile phones.  Brian Anderson and Mario Brown, who performed the survey also provide a white label mobile marketing platform, MobileBizBox, which can be used as a tool by resellers.  Since the growth of mobile Internet is projected by Mashable to outpace desktop usage for the first time, in 2013, this may be an ideal time for resellers to add mobile expertise to their business offerings.

In fact, Mario and Brian believe that the next two years will be a “window of opportunity” for resellers who want to engage clients with mobile services.  Their new service provides a complete set of features tailored to small business entities.  It is the only all-in-one solution in today’s marketplace.  The system which uses short-codes, creates mobile websites, manages text campaigns for specific businesses and individual inventory items (e.g., auto dealers and realtors), manages a business rewards programs, manages QR codes including real-time tracking by location, as well as numerous other features such as marketing materials, a website and lead generation videos (bars &nightclubs, dentists & spas, realestate, hair salons, and restaurants) for resellers.

One of the hottest features, beginning to be adopted by more than just the savviest businesses is mobile apps.  MobileBizBox supports development of viral apps.  One feature available in their app is online ordering for restaurants or other retail businesses.  Another is push notification, which is a way to deliver value to both businesses and consumers. From a customer retention strategy, mobile app push notifications are a high value small business marketing technique.

MobileBizBox subscribers pay $297 per month for access to the platform, which includes 3,000 monthly messages.  For those seeking a simpler approach, we can also recommend WPTextPro by Rapid Crush, which starts at an affordable $97, one time and monthly billing according to usage @$.01 per message and $1 per phone number per month.

Brittany Lynch, a former Google employee, recently began an experiment in setting up a system that will allow someone new to Internet marketing to begin earning $10K per month within 30 days.  The following necessary criteria, which seem to be the missing factors for many marketers are the basis of her method:Brittany Lynch, Internet marketer

  1. A “Super Niche” – Choose and validate the niche according to an interest or hobby that you already have.
  2. Something to Sell (product or affiliate product)
  3. Somewhere to Sell it (website)
  4. A way to sell it (email, sales page, webinar)
  5. Traffic – from Google, paid ads, buying solo ads, or joint ventures

Three of the necessary 7 criteria for selecting a “super niche” include the following:

For Dummies

  • An existing Dummies book – This is an indication of profitability, since the “for Dummies” industry generates $millions in sales.
  • Google ads in the niche (keyword) – Advertisers are bidding for “clicks” for your keywords.
  • Existing Clickbank products in the niche – There will be a product that can be sold immediately without having to create one.

In Brittany’s “experiment,” she chose the weight loss niche, in which she has had no previous experience.  As a first step, she chose an existing Clickbank product, Visual Impact, although she suggests first reviewing any product before promoting it.  In order to make $10K the fastest possible, she suggests using webinars (Gotowebinar.com offers a free 30 day trial), using a proven template format using answers to the following 7 questions (from the chosen product’s sales page):

  1. What does the product promise?
  2. Introduce yourself, your background, and what gives you credibility in this niche?
  3. What is the product owner’s credibility and background in this niche?
  4. What is the person actually buying?
  5. What are the benefits of using this product?
  6. What is the price of the product?
  7. Where can you buy it?
  8. What is the product guarantee?

Both a script from the webinar and presentation can be easily developed from the answers to these questions.  A registration form can be created from Gotowebinar.com, which is the page used to drive traffic for your webinar.  Registrants can then be uploaded to your autoresponder to build a long-term mailing list.  Getting people on the webinar is the next step using solo ads and/or joint ventures with partners you may know in the niche.

For most people, solo ads will be the best way to get started.  Often, the warrior forum is a good source for finding solo ads.  In Brittany’s “experiment,” she found a warrior forum member selling 300 weight loss niche clicks for $100.  Statistically, 150 would sign up and 65 actually show up the the session.  Using a 35% conversion, there would be 23 buyers of her chosen $47 Clickbank product, which would result in a $839.50 gross profit.

Brittany’s concept is demonstrated to completion in a private training session, which is not publicly available.  For a complete training course in selling via webinars, we highly suggest learning from the best webinar experts currently practicing today and/or the niche profits classroom for creating your own products.

Will Perkins, Internet marketerWill Perkins, CEO of Mooseweb Inc. is only 20 years old.  But, he is on the Board of Directors of two up and coming marketing companies and is already engaged.  He has already had the opportunity to teach over 15,000 marketers in online marketing and his specialty …marketing on Facebook.

Today there are over 1 Billion Facebook users, 500 Million who are active mobile users.  70% of local businesses use Facebook.  Over 80% of Facebook users WANT to connect with their favorite brands/companies.  But only 19% of small businesses are actively using Facebook. This, despite the fact that the average US Internet user spends 32 hours online each month and 7 of those “active” on Facebook.

Facebook surpasses 1 billion usersBut can these trends be useful for business, or even better to earn money in a home based business?  Will attests to actually using the following 5 Step System to earn $1500 when he needed to as a “starving” college student.  And, he now teaches others to successfully apply his formula.

  1. Find Leads – His strategy involves using Manta Pro advanced search features (only $9.99/month), Yellow Pages, and/or Google Maps to find out about potential customers including owner information, whether or not they have a claimed listing, Facebook fan page, Twitter, and other social sites/features listed.
  2. Send an Email – Use a professionally done video to “scare” the potential customer.  Subject:  Your Business is in Jeopardy
  3. Follow Up - Send another email to those who respond, offering to setup a coupon Fanpage for $297.  Body:  So here’s the situation, as I’m sure you know.  If you’re not online, the odds are you’re not going to be in business very long…..etc.  Will includes a PayPal invoice in the follow-up message.
  4. Send the Details – Establish the ground rules, and provide service agreed to.  He suggests offering a $75 monthly management fee, an optional $997 website design where needed, an optional $797 monthly SEO package, and $997 with $197 monthly mobile marketing package.
  5. Enjoy the Success - Or, as in Will’s case, pay your tuition and buy books for the semester.

To simplify the entire process he once did manually, Will, who is a programmer,  has now created FBCoup, a WordPress plugin which is able to generate a coupon Fanpage in under one minute.  But the plugin also does the upfront marketing job in finding leads and contacting his prospects.  A premade video is included or a custom video can be used.  More details of his plugin are available on the sales page for FBCoup.
