Are Facebook applications destined to be the next big development in the realm of Internet marketing?  If you’re in the MLM/network marketing niche, particularly using the Internet to generate leads, you may find this to be the case.  Maverick network marketer David Wood is exerting his considerable influence in his most recent campaign and, incorporating many proven concepts in his next generation MLM recruiting system on Facebook.

Facebook applications provide a very powerful business tool, as well as a familiar interface to many that are used to Farmville and other popular Facebook games.  To date, the practice of using Facebook applications has been reserved for larger companies, due to the cost.  Affordable tools are starting to be made available, particularly in the local marketing realm.  David Wood may be the first to develop a Facebook application specifically for network marketing recruiting purposes.

David Wood pioneered the use of article marketing strategies for the network marketing community, when many believed it to not be possible.  What he did was merely demonstrate how a homeless person living in a van, could tap into the Internet, as a complete marketing newcomer, and develop a following of over 30,000 in under two years.  Now in taking his vision to the next level, he is using his new “Government-Approved” Facebook application as a viral presentation tool and driving massive traffic via his followers, many of whom have become rabid article marketing “machines,” under his leadership.  Here are the features included in the system he’s put together:

  • Use of Facebook application to generate leads as well make a presentation
  • Free MLM recruiting and lead generation training
  • Automated list building (leads) without the need for squeeze page, capture pages, etc.
  • Tracking of referrals to the Facebook application

Anyone who is serious about their MLM business should at least understand what their competition is up to.  If not, you’re sure to be left in the dust.  Need further proof of the effectiveness of this method?  Here are a couple of testimonials from using the system:

Just got a sign-up today!  Someone I haven’t even talked to…..Maybe it’s the 90-day challenge!!” Andie Petoskey

We’ve got an incredible amount of people through the presentation in a short time – over 1347 in 5 days!  Not bad. This is just the beginning – I’m working on cranking out the funnel, and soon – if we all just keep blogging and linking to the presentation – as a team we’ll have 1347 people watching the presentation EVERY five days!  (Then, every day…) David Wood

And, the following are some recent Alexa traffic rankings resulting from David’s team sharing content on the team website:

For comparison purposes, traffic is compared to Internet marketing “sensation” Jonathan Budd, as well as entire MLM companies, e.g., Herbalife.com and USANA.com.  Since starting this promotion, the results have been off the charts, literally.

To see for yourself what all this commotion is about, please visit the following Facebook application link and decide for yourself.  But I assure you that David Wood and company are putting up numbers the likes of which have never before been seen in network marketing, or the Internet itself.

Is it possible for anyone to earn a full time income in your network marketing business, within 60 days?  A full-time income can be defined as $30,000 to 50,000 per year, based on the current averages in North America.  Although this type of rapid success isn’t typical, there are many instances where it has been easily accomplished.

The people who understand why something is working always do better than those who don’t understand it.

Finding the “gold vein” in network marketing will define the point when a network marketer’s business starts to grow.  What generally happens at this point is that a network marketing business that is doing what it is supposed to will experience rapid growth.  Massive success comes quickly and usually suddenly.  The people who understand why their network marketing business is working always do better than those who doing know why.  Always be asking yourself why people who have great success do what they do.  Your main goal should be to personally earn what you need from your own efforts, e.g., if you earn a $100 bonus per recruit, then you need to personally recruit 25 per month in order to earn about $36,000 per year.  It isn’t rocket science, wouldn’t you agree?

Focus on enough production today to sustain your lifestyle.

With a good opportunity, you should be able to enroll about 1 out of 30 people with whom you connect.  Attraction marketing guru David Wood had 20 people looking at his business every day when he first started. Working 6 days a week, this would result in 480 exposures and, on average, earnings of 16x$100, or $1600.  Not quite enough, but you get the idea, and please realize that David became the Internet’s leading attraction marketing guru in the MLM niche using even this  level of effort. Similarly, you need to focus each day on what you need to do to make the income you need and want.  Focus on enough production today to sustain your lifestyle.  Do what you have to do.  If your personal sphere of influence isn’t big enough to sustain 20 or 30 daily connections, start working on generating leads, e.g., via using one of many possible attraction marketing strategies, meeting new people in your daily walk, or whatever it takes.

In network marketing, 99% of your own efforts dictate your earnings in the beginning.  Later on, you’ll have created the leverage by your initial efforts that will sustain your business.  Be inspired in order to accomplish the level of production needed to sustain your “needs.”  This won’t come naturally for most people in North America, since our culture has created a great amount of wealth.  Dig deep and find what will motivate you to make the efforts needed each day.

Can you create a full time income in 90 days?  The answer lies within, but if you know of a better alternative that can eventually lead to an unlimited residual income, go for it!  For assistance with both online and offline strategies, we suggest a trial membership in My Lead System Pro, the Internet’s leading attraction marketing system.  You may listen to a weekly training session, or contact me for further information.

Although it sounds new, attraction marketing is nothing new, really.  Leaders in network marketing and many other industries have been using the methodology for years, even before the Internet’s existence. So why is it that many people these days seem to want to use the Internet to replace the relationship building process in sponsoring for their network marketing business?

Several leaders in My Lead System Pro, who have the results to be listened to closely, shared their experiences and advice pertaining to the use of the Internet’s “seductive” technologies vs.  older, tried-and-true methods.  Some of these leaders, as with the MLSP founders, have “come around” in their thinking.  This is why some of the, still existing, sales copy in MLSP “preaches” that you won’t have to approach your friends and family.

Rob Fore, like many before him initially tried to build a sales funnel that would directly sponsor people into his network marketing business.  What he discovered was this didn’t work.  He believes that people that don’t want to contact their “warm market” lack a core belief in some area.  It might be in the industry, company, or most likely in themself.  What he discovered was that his focus needed to be on using the Internet for leverage and then establishing relationships with people as the most important part of his strategy.

Don’t wish for the task to be easier, wish for you to be better.  Jim Rohn

Ray Higdon believes that the network marketing industry has been exploited (he uses a more colorful term) by “gurus” taking advantage of people’s hopes and dreams, selling them expensive courses related to Internet from a more technical perspective, without leading to tangible success.  At the same time, however, he believes that network marketing is the last bastion of free enterprise.  He had $300 in the bank and was broke when he started out on his fifth attempt in MLM, but is today his company’s top recruiter.  He makes extensive use of social media. But, if a new recruit tells him he doesn’t want to talk to people; but rather to just market online, he tells them to go sign up with someone else.   According to Ray, everyone hates prospecting, but leaders just buckle in and do it anyway.

Everyone hates prospecting, but leaders do it anyway.

What if someone on your team comes to you saying they’ve burned out their warm market?  Ray’s approach is to have them go through a “fun” exercise, to “get them out of the way first.”  Call them up and say “I just started a new enterprise and I know this isn’t for you, but I need to mark you off my list, so I can move on.”  Many will naturally ask what it is about, to which you can reply:  “I have this short video that you can watch about it; then just get back to me if you want additional information.”  Ray finds this actually results in sign-ups.

If not building an elaborate attraction marketing system, then for a new person who just signed up, what are the most important things that should be done immediately?  David Wood, the KING of attraction marketing, now starts every new person on very traditional methods.  Specifically,  if someone has been in 6 MLMs and failed every time, then home meetings will probably not work.  On the other hand, if it’s been awhile or a new person has never tried home meetings, then they will more likely work than not.  David suggests making a list of all the resources that you have available to you now vs. later.  What connections are the strongest in your life?  Leverage these first, and then work as hard as possible to expand beyond these, including building that attraction marketing system for maximum long term result.

Start with what you have vs. what you don’t have.

Answering a related question: “What would you do tonight to make money tomorrow?”  Rob Fore suggests getting with those you’re closest to and just tell them “from the heart” why you’re starting your enterprise and see if they wouldn’t want to join you.  What could be better than working on an awesome project with those closest to you?  Ray Higdon believes that speed ties in with those you’re closest to.  Make an agreement with yourself that you’re just an inviter in a time which more people than ever are “hurting.”  If you want something you’re never had, you have to be willing to do something you’ve never done.

David Wood had a change of opinion after 90 days online, when he realized that it wasn’t possible to solely depend on the Internet and automated sales funnels in building a big enterprise.  He began advising his team to entirely start with a “warm market” approach.  From a big picture perspective, how many people have sufficient background to immediately succeed in online attraction marketing?  In reality, most need to start with their “real world” resources first.

Have the MLSP founders and leaders changed course?  And can the Internet actually be used to automate attraction marketing (especially in the network marketing world)?  Although evidence suggests that it not only possible, but very viable, this isn’t a good strategy for brand new network marketers to completely rely on due to the complexity.  Long term, yes, but early on the tried and true methods reign, just like the “old-time” pros told us they would!

Jaime Soriano has recently been “on fire” in his primary network marketing company, adding 38 new representatives in the last week and 50 over the last two weeks. Jaime is in his early 30′s, having started in the network marketing industry in 1998. Up until the last 6 months, all of his recruiting efforts have been offline. He started with the My Lead System Pro Attraction Marketing community only 6 months ago.  When he started, he didn’t know anything about the Internet.  He currently generates an average of 17 leads per day for his company, using a 98 percent free marketing strategy.

When Jaime Soriano started marketing online, he had no previous experience on the Internet and limited computer skills.

The MLSP system offers a variety of marketing choices.  In particular, Jaime first decided to pick a single marketing strategy, that most other members were not involved with, in order to carve his own niche.  He chose to duplicate what his sponsor was doing, which was based on article marketing, e.g., David Wood’s strategy.  Remarkably, he has never had a conversation with David.  Can anyone say “next superstar?”

Can anyone say “next superstar?”

Jaime has been simply providing value to his followers, based on what he has learned over the last 11 years, via blogging and article marketing.  Jaime has posted an article every day, consistently.  Most people won’t do this, which has allowed him to “blow past” all the competition in his short 6 1/2 months online.  He currently has 234 articles on EzineArticles.com, and 400 videos on YouTube.  Jaime doesn’t force the Internet methodology on anyone and continues to teach successful offline strategies to those on his team who prefer a more traditional approach.

Jaime has simply followed instructions and taken massive action in order to achieve his remarkably quick success online.

He uses Npros.com and MLMRankings.com to find popular companies to write content on, in addition to recurrent spam in his inbox.  He uses David Wood’s strategy to a “T,” including the Automatic Article Submitter,  OnlyWire submissions, and posting to his blog and the MLSP article directory, using typically 400 to 500 words per article.  He also uses his YouTube channel to “advertise” new content on his blog.  Jaime has simply followed instructions and taken massive action in order to achieve his remarkably quick success online.

Many people struggle to combine multiple marketing efforts in their network marketing business.  This is primarily due to the fact that people are generally trained in only one particular recruiting method.  David Wood, who is primarily know as the most explosive network marketer in the Internet marketing world (but also a highly successful traditional MLM recruiter), recently shared his recruiting tips with his mastermind.  Here are some tips that will allow you to increase your percentages in recruiting from different sources of leads?

    • Warm Market – Who are they?  Specifically, these are the 20 to 30 people in your life that trust you and would help you at any time of the day or night, e.g., you could call them to help you when your car broke down.  As long as you haven’t irritated them by pitching them on 5 deals, you should definitely want them.  The approach that works 99% of the time is the “Will You Help Me Approach.”  Ask them if they would do you a favor by reviewing your company presentation.  Do this authentically and don’t try to recruit them, unless they express interest.

Ask your warm market contacts to “do you a favor” by reviewing your company presentation.

        • Casual Aquaintances – These are all the people outside your close friends that you know and who know you by name.  These people have to be approached “casually.”  The best way to expose these people would be using the medium via which you know them, e.g., use the Internet for your online contacts.  These people should be approached on a “needs” basis.
          • Business Contacts -These are people you have done business with.  They must be approached in a “business-like” manner, using “do you keep your business options open?,” or similar question.  Todd Falcone’s scripts for recruiting professionals is excellent for approaching realtors, mortgage lenders, etc. even on a cold-call basis.
          • Internet Contacts – You need to be constantly present in unique ways and create a lot of content.  Keep in mind that you are recruiting people to a business relationship, which takes more nurturing than most Internet marketers are accustomed to.  You must be authentic before people will “like you” as you authentically are.  Once you are building a list, you need to email these people every day with some valuable content and the “triangle of exposure.”  This incorporates phone, email, and postal mail contacts.  On a daily basis, if you will “learn, do, and teach” you will have valuable content to share with your list.

Every day focus on the following in your business:  “Learn, do, and teach.”

            • Heavy hitters – This is the person you “dream” about getting in your business.  These people will come to you once you are successful, e.g., Cedrick Harris specifically sought out Ray Higdon when he joined Numis Network.  Most of these people will enter your business only if you’re consistently in the game and building an organization in depth.  They will “pop-in” in your 10th level, or so.  Everybody knows somebody who knows a “heavy hitter.”

If you never give up, you WILL achieve the success you want in network marketing.

Many people want to specialize in one area in recruiting new team members in their network marketing business.  But why would you want to avoid a certain category of prospect?  The approach is the key, depending on the context in which you know people.  For further information, visit our attraction marketing training system or network marketing landing pages designed for Internet recruiting.  The bottom line is to never give up if you want to reach your dreams and the success you deserve.

In this article, we examine the best ways to apply attraction marketing to a network marketing business, from the perspective of having a team of tens or hundreds of thousands of people on your team.  Should you incorporate traditional MLM prospecting techniques?  What methods of marketing work best on the Internet?

An average person needs to have things in place in order to succeed quickly.  The tendency for many people, however, is to spend months setting up systems before even recruiting one person.  Therefore, it is important to use traditional methods up front while setting up the more complex internet marketing systems.

Within internet/attraction marketing, which lead generation methods are available and best for specific time frames and circumstances?

              • Pay Per Click – Paid ads work the most quickly of any method, producing almost guaranteed results, as long as using well thought out and designed sales copy and you have a good offer on your squeeze pages.  Depending on your budget, this strategy should be used early on in your plan.
              • Social Media – Facebook, MySpace, and others can be used both to connect with your current warm market and to make new friends.  Social media expert Max Steingart teaches that the new 3 foot rule is that the entire world is within 3 feet of you when you are on social media.  This is a free strategy, although most people will need some training in the best social media recruiting methods from experts such as Max Steingart.  His Endless Free Leads Curriculum is an excellent way to get started.
              • Article Marketing and Blogging – For those who like to write, article marketing is another free strategy that can both create your on brand, You, Inc. and generate organic search engine results for your business.  Results can be seen in as little as 3 months up to a year or longer, depending on the level of effort that you can afford.  David Wood’s free training webinar is a great starting point and an example of generating significant earnings within a short time.
              • Video Marketing – Another strategy which is essentially free is video marketing, although, again some skills and possible submission tools may be needed.  Videos are great for branding and establishing relationships with your prospects before you even meet in person.

There are many additional marketing strategies, such as ezine solo ads, online classified ads, marketing forums, and more.  Just remember to keep the basics in mind that have been learned and proven successful over the last 70 years in the network marketing industry.  Further information on setting up and attraction marketing system is available as well as complete turn key marketing systems, such as My Lead System Pro.

The network marketing industry is now 75 years “young,” having begun long before the existence of the Internet.  Although the importance of the Internet is obvious, it is not entirely obvious that a successful network marketing business can be build entirely online.  In truth, it can, as long as the time-honored principles that have proven successful are not left behind.

One of the best proofs of this thesis is the meteoric success of many up and coming network marketers in the last year and before.  What they have been able to accomplish has rarely been done with the speed of execution in the industry, if ever.  Who are these superstars?  Do the names David Wood, Cedrick Harris, Brian Fanale, and Mike Dillard ring any bells for you?

What are the concepts that these new Internet “rockstars” have used to effectively change the network marketing landscape?  This new breed of marketers have taken the knowledge gained in prior network marketing efforts and adapted it to the Internet.  It’s not about the impersonal nature of online communications; rather it’s all about relationships.

So how are relationships built in the new era of Internet communications?  The answer lies in the discipline of Attraction Marketing, popularized by internet marketing guru Dan Kennedy and others.  Attraction Marketing, also know as “jump through hoops marketing,” builds customer relationships via free offers (usually information products) to people already seeking what a business has to offer.

What are some other key components?  One of the main aspects of the relationship building process is the use of video marketing.  YouTube has recently grown to be the #2 search engine on the Internet, due the popularity of videos.  Incorporating personalized videos into the sales funnel increases familiarity of a prospect with you before you have even met.  Even bad videos are so far tolerated, since people understand that you are making a valid attempt to communicate with them.

How is this “new breed” of network marketers faring in their network marketing efforts?  Basically, their growth is explosive, often recruiting several prospects into their business on a daily basis.  Although it may not be for everyone, the Internet offers a powerful method and platform to rapidly build a business for those willing to put forth the effort. Our own attraction marketing system is based on the concept defined by Mike Dillard, implemented by Brian Fanale, and exploited by network marketers David Wood and Cedrick Harris.

              Image via Wikipedia

I’ve been following David Wood now a little over a month because his strategy, which was exposed through MLM Lead System Pro (MLSP) has been an amazing journey for me.   Last evening he was featured on a webinar that he and his mastermind team are now doing Monday evenings.  Both Jim Chou and Kenny Gregg are experienced Internet Marketers and it has been fun to also see their reactions to David’s meteoric rise.

I can tell you this is no scam, because everything about David is verifiable online.  His Blog traffic has come out of nowhere in the last several months.  David is still relatively reachable, although I don’t really want to impose on his time I “interviewed” him last week personally.  Last evening’s session was priceless, though since he exposed quite a bit more than he did on the initial session on MLSP.  To hear the live recording, you can read the first article I wrote on David on this blog or listen to the recording.

David exposed details of his amazing story last evening.  How did a literally homeless person from Alaska win the MLSP BMW contest last week?  I guess this will start a new Alaska Gold Rush!  David’s strategy was really quite simple and is still largely based on the concepts of Article Marketing.  David basically did the basics, only in hyper-drive.

A couple facts about his methods and work ethic are in order.  He mentioned last evening that he figured out in the beginning, after encountering several well-known Internet marketers and studying them what he would need to do.  One worth studying is John Chow, and in fact, I am getting his free eBook right now.  David mentioned that as of right now he “only” has about 90 articles online and has been writing about one per day.  He has been working 12-14 hours daily because he had to!  Besides writing, he has been learning online from as many free sources as possible and using the essential tools of the trade which include Traffic Geyser, Automatic Article Submitter, and MLSP.   Traffic Geyser is an affiliate program within MLSP. [Author's Note:  David now recommends Article Marketing Robot vs. AAS]

              Automatic Article Submitter

              Automatic Article Submitter

Additional twists in David’s extreme makeover are his creative use of videos to promote his articles, and building backlinks to his articles on MLSP.  Basically his videos are very promotional and simply promote his articles, of course building backlinks and thereby raising the score of his article wherever they happen to be located.  In one example, his Efusion article is on the first page of Google for both his blog and MLSP squeeze page, which amazes even experts like Jim Chou and Kenny Gregg.

I don’t know what the next step is for you, but if this information resonates, I’d like to invite you to take a test drive of a system designed to explode your MLM business just like it did David’s.  Here is the link to get you started.

              Content Marketing Online

In this article, I will review a recent webinar presented by David Wood.  This webinar was highly unusual, in that David gave away nearly every secret and tool in his kit.  How often have you heard that?  MLSP owner Brian Fanale commented that their was such incredible content that attendees would need to listen to his session 7-10 times to really understand how to duplicate David’s content marketing strategy.

David’s strategy has solved, for him, several of the problems inherent in traditional MLM.  You know the scenario:  make a list, and contact everyone about your business opportunity.  How many of these people are anxiously awaiting your miracle products and amazing residual income streams?  Of course there are the grinders, who make this work.  David was one of them, and very successful in his Amway business, but found that this success didn’t truly generate the free time that he felt it should have.  So he turned to the Internet.

His concepts are simple, yet profound and somewhat difficult to implement.  For any marketer, it is important to abide by principles that will truly drive traffic to your blog, videos, and articles.  Your content must be relevant to topics that are useful to real needs for real people.  Popularity is essential, e.g., the number and quality of sites linking to your content.  Your content must be unique.  Then finally, to achieve “buzz,” you must be consistent in your actions.  You may not need to post to your blog every day,but you can’t let the content become “stale,” either.  Follow these concepts and you’ll soon find yourself on the first page of Google and other search engines.

With that in mind, there are four simple steps to follow.  David suggests doing these every day to add to your content:

              1. Create an original article – there are limitless possibilities for this, but keep in mind that you want to use terms that are “popular” in the search engines, yet not overly popular.  In the webinar, David used an example article he wrote, “Brian Fanale Review,”  which ranks his blog and landing page at the top of Google’s search.
              2. Bookmark your article using OnlyWire.com {free}
              3. Promote through video sharing – this single step will set you well apart from the competition.  David suggests TrafficGeyser.com, which has a 30 day $1 Trial period.  If you can’t afford the $97 monthly fee after doing this 30 days, then drop the subscription.automatic article submitter
              4. Use Automatic Article Submitter – this allows you to submit your article to hundreds of directories and ezines.  The program tools built-in which allow you to “rewrite” the content slightly for each submission.  This ensures originality of your article and creates search engine “popularity” for Blog.

This was one of the most intense and enlightening sessions I’ve ever been in on.  I’ve listened to it twice myself already and plan on at least 5 more times.  My advice is to listen to the webinar to hear for yourself what David Wood accomplished and exactly how.  And while you’re at it, why not check out  MLM Lead System Pro to unlock  many additional secrets of marketing yourself vs. your company’s business online.
